Puppet Show

The children will be enjoying a wonderful puppet show as part of their learning on 10th November by Chris Covington.  Chris provides a tradition string puppet performance which is truly magical.  Remember to ask your child about it when they come home.  We are asking for a contribution of £1 towards the cost of the show.  Please send in with your child tomorrow.

Cake Bake Week

Look out for the letter this week telling you all about Cake Bake Week.  Each class will be asked to send in cakes for us to sell.  Check the letter to see which day you need to send cakes in.

 Rememberance Day

We are still selling poppies this week to raise money for the British Legion.  We will be asking all children to take part in a two minute silence on Friday at 11am.

Polling Station

Are you fed up with the school being closed and used as a polling station each year?

Well the good news is the Council are prepared to listen to us.  Symon Dawson, Chair of Governors has written to the Council requesting they move the polling station to another location.  The Council have invited us to attend a Council meeting on Wednesday 23rd November at 7pm to give the views of parents.   We would really love some parents to join us to give their views first hand.  Please pop and see me at the office if you would like more information.

This week our school council meet for the first time.  They are responsile for ensuring the senior leaders of the school and the governors listen to the views of the children.  Each week a school councilor will hold a class council to enable all children to give their views and ideas about school events and issues.  The School Council have also been invited to visit the Wellingborough Mayor in his chamber later this month.
